I believe that with optimism, resilience, and gratitude, you can achieve anything you put your mind to.

On February 21, 2022, I was living out my childhood dream of playing hockey in the NCAA when I suffered a stroke on the ice and lost everything I had worked for in the blink of an eye. When I woke up in the ICU I was completely paralyzed on my right side and unable to speak or drink on my own. I was devastated and initially I let myself fall into self-pity, mourning the athlete that I had worked my whole life to be.

With time, I began to accept that I could not change the past, and that I can only work to build my future. It was with this new understanding that I knew my recovery was as much of a mental than physical battle, and while I knew my frustration and anger were natural, I refused to let these emotions consume me. I had to be resilient, as pessimism would never get me where I wanted to be.

I’ve sought to empower others with my story, from a TikTok audience over 40,000 to more recently, becoming a part of the Young All-American Association, where I want to focus on helping athletes with their own challenges and goals by sharing my experiences and what I have learned along the way.

I meet with athletes on a weekly basis virtually or in person to advise them on how to build best practices from my field into their training, competitions, and lives. The topics, progression, and style of these sessions depends on the athlete and his or her goals, but generally I follow the programs you can find here for athletes, coaches, and teams.

If you are interested in learning from my experiences please book a free initial consultation so we can discuss how I can best help you meet your goals. Feel free to contact me or a member of my team with any questions or concerns.
